APPS FACEBOOK APPS

In the last few months we’ve asked people to find their most embarrassing band photos, choose who they’d pick if the war began and tasked people on how much they really know about film and we did it all through Facebook apps for Tomorrow When The War Began, Killing Bono and the Paramount Facebook Hub.

KB KILLING BONO POSTER

If you think you recognise this artwork you’d be right… this new poster for upcoming Nick Hamm comedy KILLING BONO is a light hearted take on the 1983 front cover of U2′s album WAR….

The film is a rock’ n’ roll comedy about two Irish brothers struggling to forge their path through the 1980′s music scene, whilst the meteoric rise to fame of their old school pals U2 only serves to cast them deeper into the shadows…

We worked with Paramount to develop the concept, we organised the photo shoot using Dean Rogers (This Is England, Control, Bronson, Dead Man’s Shoes), art directed the shots and managed the post production process.

The film is out on April 1st. You’d be a fool to miss it … April 1st… fool… get it?

The man, the daredevil, the legend that is Evel Knievel is back and abundant will be riding in his metaphorical sidecar.

We are lucky enough to be working with Brand Merchandising to work on the upcoming Evel Knievel World Tour. Primarily we’ll be offering PR support at each of the destinations around the world but we’ll also be building the Knievel online presence utilising key social media outlets and offering ongoing integrated support.

MID_holding Made In Dagenham

We’ve just finished the website for a new film called Made In Dagenham. The film stars Sally Hawkins, Bob Hoskins and Miranda Richardson and it’s based on the 1968 Ford Dagenham strikes that led to the Equal Pay Act.

We designed, built and created all the content for the site so go and have a look when you get a chance as we’re very proud of it. In addition to the film gallery, synopsis and trailer, we’ve also created a fashion from the 60′s section, a classic cars gallery, a history page featuring interviews with the women who inspired the film and a wages page where you could find out what people earned in 1968.

We also ran the Facebook page for the site providing updates, insights and general information about the film in the build up to it’s release on 1st October.

old spice comp The crazy, hedonistic world of competition entering.

One of the things we do at Abundant (as well as lots of hard work) is enter Facebook competitions!

Yep, any advert that links through to a competition – we will enter it. We really aren’t fussy about the prize – it’s the ‘taking part’ that counts to us, and it’s always a bonus to see what brands are doing on Facebook.

To date we have made audio packages detailing the last safe place on earth, signed up to mailing lists, answered multiple choice questions, detailed what we would like to smell off and taken pictures of our shoes…. all to win:

- A year’s supply of Tea

- A year’s supply of cereal bars

- A sailing trip with team GB

- Some make up

- A trip to LA

- A trip to America White Water Rafting

So far we have won:

- A resident Evil Goodie Bag! (make that two Resident Evil Goodie Bags!)

So our haul isn’t that great but, as they say, “you have to be in it to win it”. So, with our fingers continually crossed, we live in hope that one day our names are drawn from the corporate advertising hat.
